Phyllis Gutelius performed internationally with the Martha Graham Dance Company dancing many of Graham’s iconic roles including Appalachian Spring, Deaths and Entrances, Cave of the Heart, El Penitente and many others. As a teacher, lecturer, and choreographer she has guested at universities across the United States and internationally in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Taiwan, and Mexico
